Where the 369 Pattern gives the day its structure, the 147 Trend gives it direction. Derived from the same daily open, the 147 Trend frequencies define the path a trending session follows through the 1000-frequency block.
Not every trading day is the same. Some days rotate back and forth inside the block; others pick a direction and travel. The 147 Trend exists for the second kind of day. It is a set of trend frequencies, anchored to the daily open, that map the route a directional session takes.
When the market is trending, price moves through the 147 frequencies in sequence — using each one as a stepping stone rather than a wall. That behaviour is itself information: when price is respecting the 147 sequence, the map is telling you a trend day is in progress. When price stalls inside the sequence and returns to the 369 structure, the map is telling you the trend attempt has cooled.
Together, the two elements answer the two biggest questions of any session — the 369 Pattern answers where, and the 147 Trend answers which way.
The 147 Trend is built from the same daily open price as every other element — one number drives the whole map.
Inside the day's 1000-frequency block, the 147 Trend frequencies are placed alongside the 369 Pattern — fixed for the day, never repainting.
As the session develops, the way price treats the 147 sequence reveals the day's character: stepping through it means trend, rejecting it means rotation.
Because the frequencies are fixed in advance, a trending move can be followed from level to level with reference points that were known before the day began.
Trend days breathe. Even the strongest directional session pauses and retraces on its way through the block — and the 147 Trend carries its own 2·5·8 pullback frequencies to map exactly that. A pullback that holds a 2·5·8 frequency is a trend taking a breath; a pullback that loses it is a trend in question. The pullback layer is what lets a trader stay with a trending day instead of being shaken out by its normal rhythm.
